Adult Classes
STC Learning strives to provide a place for adults to find community, cultivate connections, and explore artistic interests. Classes are open to all, regardless of experience.
We have classes available for those who are interested in acting, like to discuss and analyze the Bard’s work, or are looking to use theatre to build their skills in the workplace. Our Teaching Artists are theatre professionals working in the DMV and have the knowledge and skills to help you develop your artistry.
Tickets and Schedule
Fall 2026 Classes for Adults
Classes take place on Mondays from 6:30–8:30pm. Tuition is $300 for a six-week long class.
Financial Aid
In order to make our classes accessible to everyone, financial aid is available.
If you would like to apply for financial aid, please fill out our financial aid application. If you have any questions about financial aid, or are interested in setting up a payment plan, please email Classes@ShakespeareTheatre.org.
All class participants, regardless of financial aid status, are required to pay a $10 deposit to secure their place in the class.
Refund Policy
If you are unable to attend a class for any reason (including weather), no refunds or exchanges will be provided. STC rarely cancels events due to inclement weather. If STC cancels a class session for any reason, including inclement weather, we will email you. We will make every effort to reschedule the class at a time convenient for the instructor and the majority of the students, but tuition is non-refundable.
If you are no longer able to attend the class as scheduled, please submit a written request to Classes@ShakespeareTheatre.org. 50% will be refunded if registration is withdrawn until one week prior to the first scheduled class. Starting a week prior to the first scheduled class, TUITION IS NON-REFUNDABLE. Please note that refunds for classes may require two to three weeks for processing.
